English Language Learner (ELL) Program

Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is proud to serve over 260 students in our English Language Learners (ELL) program. These students have languages other than English in their home or background and are in the process of developing and refining their academic English proficiency for success in school.

Every school site offers standards-based English Language Development with trained, qualified ELL instructional staff as a part of the regular school day. Students develop their academic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English while being supported with the core content curriculum.

ELL- LPHS Schedule
ELL Lab Class will meet in Room 9 for 1st hour during 2011-2012 school year.

Mrs. Hatfield will also be available other hours to give test accomodations but *students need to let her know ahead of time when these tests are.*

She will also meet with students in study hall as needed.

Mrs. Hatfield also works at other schools in LPSD and so scheduling to see her ahead of time is very important! Thank you.
